  The accommodation
The Mont Cervin Palace, a member of the «Leading Hotels of the World» and the «Swiss Deluxe Hotels», has been accommodating guests from all over the world since 1851.

Situated in the heart of Zermatt, the hotel boasts an attractive south-facing façade and a roof with numerous small towers that was built in the summer of 2004. At the same time, spacious new suites and tastefully appointed rooms were installed on the sixth floor. The hotel, including the Résidence, now has a total of 133 rooms and suites, most with a balcony and many with unrestricted views of the Matterhorn. (picture on the right)

Something about Zermatt
Zermatt, at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn, is a world without cars. Electric-cars and horse-drawn sleighs and carriages are the only transport allowed.

Zermatt, with its wind-protected southern location, embraces three skiing areas which enjoy superb snow conditions and the longest skiing season in the Alps. The 313 km of ski runs include slopes ranging from the simplest to the most challenging. Easy access is provided by an extensive network of 74 transport facilities, with high-capacity cableways, mountain railways and ski-lifts (incl. Cervinia, Italy) capable of conveying up to 75700 passengers an hour.
